= антионкогенtumor suppressor, cancer susceptibility gene, antioncogene[лат. suppressio — подавление]ген, продукт которого в норме оказывает негативное влияние на клеточный цикл, препятствуя этим образованию опухоли. Мутации в О.с. (точечные мутации, делеции или блокирование экспрессии) приводят к развитию опухоли. Примеры О.с.: гены p53, RB (retinoblastoma), WT-1, DCC (deleted in colonic carcinoma), NF-1 (neurofibrosarcoma) и APC (adenomatous polyposis coli). Злокачественное перерождение происходит только при наличии мутаций в обоих аллелях этих генов, т.е. в гомозиготном состоянии.Толковый биотехнологический словарь.
